Oh my gosh I cant believe it, Cross Country is on today. I have been hoping this day wouldn't come but here it is, I keep saying to myself why, why does it have to be today.Oh no, standing there while biting my nails I stepped up to the start line. I hate to say it but I feel like screaming and spewing all at the same time. "BANG" everyone ran, this is my worst nightmare ever because I'm to afraid I will come last.
Oh no, this isn't good I think I'm going to be sick and to make it worse there's a big muddy patch ahead. As I make my way past Ms Glaze trying to take a breath, I suddenly felt gooey mud between my toes. I didn't care I just kept running.
I finally make my way to the finish line, WOW! I can't believe it,I did it, I actually ran that big long race with no stich at all, I am so proud of myself.
Even though I have a aching back, sore legs, and a felling of a broken ankle I feel like I came first.
